Chaired by Janice McLaren (Head of Education and Projects, The Photographers’ Gallery), panelists Jane Martin (Programme Manager, PhotoVoice), Jenny Matthews (Photographer and participatory photography facilitator) and Emily Stein (Founder, We Are Photogirls) will be discussing who really benefits from participatory photography and how can a photographer facilitating a participatory photography project manage the tension between what drives them as a photographer and what it means to enable someone else to truly represent their own voice through photography.

We Are Photogirls are travelling to sunny Sri Lanka for the very 1st Sri Lanka Design Festival! We will be photographing fashion shows, giving a talk and working with the Academy of design's students to create a 'Look Book' of their designer's work..Cant wait!
